The Shinning stars Director, Dr. Cynthia Paintsil upon her visit to Ghana in the past week had a meeting with the directors of all the special schools in Tamale to find out the unique challenges facing the schools and discuss how our plans to establish a training institution in Tamale will be beneficial to them.
In fact, aside from our long-term plan to establish a training institution for persons with special needs, we needed to discuss the immediate needs of the special needs school in order to capture that in the scope of our work in the coming months to support them. The success of the meeting and the heartfelt desire of the directors and teachers were so tangible.unique
After our meeting, Dr. Cynthia, her two daughters, and the Shinning Stars team visited and had a wonderful experience at Yumba Special School; it was a visit filled with great excitement and awe for the girls.
